Aylesbury town centre is looking forward to major investment and redevelopment over the next four years or so.
Warner Estate is regenerating land adjacent to its Hale Leys Shopping Centre in Aylesbury to deliver the retail element of the wider Waterside Regeneration scheme.
The redevelopment proposals include the creation of 265,000sq ft of new retail space extending from the existing Hale Leys Shopping Centre.
The redevelopment proposes to enhance the existing townscape and integrate with the High Street whilst providing a link between the heart of the town centre and other elements of the Waterside Development to provide Aylesbury with the comprehensive redevelopment that the town deserves.

Warner Estate’s aim is to provide high-quality, modern retail units to broaden and enhance the shopping experience. This includes new stores, a department store, food store and ample car parking spaces as well as restaurants and cafes to create a vibrant environment.
Working closely with the council, Warner Estate is now focusing on detailed designs, layout proposals and floor plans for the proposed retail scheme and its related services and facilities. These are now being progressed and prepared by international retail specialist architects Chapman Taylor, who were appointed to the team last year.
Once the emerging plans are finalised, Warner Estate expect to submit a planning application to AVDC, later this year.
