Grants for Business Investment (GBI)
Grant for Business Investment replaced the Selective Finance for Investment in England scheme and for the first time businesses in Aylesbury Vale can benefit from this central government fund for business development.
The scheme aims to assist business productivity by funding capital investment in modern equipment and technology.
The scheme is managed by the South East of England Development Agency (SEEDA) on behalf of BERR.
Who can apply
SMEs in Aylesbury Vale who have high quality business proposals can now apply for this fund to expand, modernise, diversify and increase productivity in order to maintain or establish sustainable growth and provided skilled jobs.
Criteria
Applicants should provide projects which benefit the regional and national economy, demonstrating that the grant is necessary for their proposal to go ahead.
Projects must secure sustainable jobs or create new skilled jobs. All business proposals must be viable and plan to increase productivity.
