Food safety
Part of our role is to ensure that all of the food businesses in Aylesbury Vale meet the highest possible standards of food hygiene. Every registered premises within the district is inspected on a regular basis to ensure that standards are being maintained and legislation complied with. On average, each year we receive and investigate over 120 complaints relating to food safety.
We also run the Food Safety Club for the benefit of all local businesses which have any connection with food. Members display the club logo on their premises to demonstrate their commitment to providing safe food.
