The Gambling Act 2005 came into effect on 1 September 2007. The new legislation replaces most of the existing laws about gambling in the UK and aims to protect vulnerable people and children, reduce crime and keep gambling fair.
Under the Act, we are the licensing authority for any application's made within Aylesbury Vale District. Our statement of current licensing policy under the Gambling Act 2005 is available to download below.
