Alcohol Licensed Premises Gaming Machine Permits
Only applicable in respect to premises with a premises licence issued under the Licensing Act 2003 permitting sale of alcohol and does not have a premises licence under the Gambling Act 2005. Please see the application form below.
The Licensing authority can grant, refuse, reduce number of machines or specify different category of machines. The permit will be subject to Gambling Commission’s Code of Practice for gaming machines in alcohol licensed premises.
The Licensing Authority may NOT attach conditions to the permit. The Licensing authority cannot grant with reduced number of machines or different category of machines unless notified the applicant of their intention and given opportunity to make oral &/or written representations. Appeal procedure available to Magistrates
The permit once issued can transferred with prescribed fee and will be subject to a first annual fee and subsequent annual fee. The permit must be kept on premises and you must apply for a copy of permit if lost, stolen or damaged, along with prescribed fee. Permits can be subject to variation, cancellation and forfeiture and transfer.
