Aylesbury Vale covers 350 square miles (about 90,000 hectares) in the centre of England. It is approximately 40 miles northwest of London and 65 miles southeast of Birmingham.
The area has good links with three principal road routes, the Ml, M40 and M25 and there is also easy access to London via the A41. An efficient, high performance, rail service connects Aylesbury with central London and there are three major airports, Heathrow, Luton and Stanstead, within an hour’s drive.
Our vision for the future is to develop a vibrant Aylesbury Vale, which has an expanding and diverse economy, benefiting the community by providing suitable employment opportunities, good quality, shops, facilities and services, while protecting and enhancing the natural and built environment.
