Aylesbury Enterprise and Innovation Centre - Invitation to Tender

Aylesbury Vale District Council, with the support of the South East England Regional Development Agency, seeks an Operator with suitable skills in running a business support service to set up and operate the pilot Aylesbury Enterprise and Innovation Centre.

The successful operator will be required to:

• Provide the premises (approx 5,500ft2) for the Aylesbury Enterprise and Innovation Centre to rent for two years and continue to operate the Enterprise and Innovation Centre for a further two years at nil subsidy.
• Let tenancies to a range of start up and small businesses.
• Optimise the use of the centre for new and developing innovative and knowledge based businesses.
• Provide business support services.
• Contribute to wider economic/business regeneration activities in the area.
• Provide facilities management and take responsibility for the day to day running of the site.

The contract is expected to commence in February 2009, with the premises opening by the end of March 2009.
