Bucks County Council Highways Division
The maintenance of Buckinghamshire's road and pavement network is carried out by Bucks County Council Highways Division. However, private roads and private streets are maintained by residents, businesses and organisations who own the freehold of the land the road is on.

Bucks County Council Trading Standards Division
Trading Standards aim to protect consumers and safeguard the health and well-being of the community. It’s services are available to all residents and traders in Buckinghamshire.
It provides free high quality consumer advice and information on a wide range of issues including doorstep selling, firework information, home improvements, internet shopping, rogue traders, vehicles and young consumers.
Trading Standards also provide child safety advice in relation to car seat, push chairs, safety gates, second hand goods, cots and fireguards and high chairs.
They also play an important role with regard to food safety including providing information on food alerts, locally grown food and meat legislation.
