This page contains information about Aylesbury Vale's current Community Plan and the emerging Sustainable Community Strategy.

The current Community Plan was adopted by the Vision 2031 Partnership in August 2006. The Plan outlines how we can all work together to deliver our vision for a vibrant Aylesbury Vale. The issues facing the district are grouped within 6 key themes 

The six themes are:

• communities
• economic development
• environment
• health and wellbeing
• housing
• transport

The Aylesbury Vale Local Strategic Partnership is currently reviewing the Community Plan, and the vision for a Vibrant Aylesbury Vale (see links below).

A new Sustainable Community Strategy is being developed and will be published in July 2009, which will set out the long term vision for the area and the key priorities in the medium term.

In order to align the Sustainable Community Strategies across Buckinghamshire, they are all being reviewed at the same time and a joint consultation exercise has been launched. If you would like to comment on the priorities for the district, or for the county, you can download the documents from the links below. (Please note that you will need to download the Buckinghamshire consultation document as this contains the feedback form). The closing date for the consultation is 31 January 2009.
