Aylesbury Vale Local Strategic Partnership

The Aylesbury Vale Local Strategic Partnership (AVLSP) is composed of those representatives of the main public, voluntary and community and private sector organisations and agencies that have a responsibility and resources to deliver and assist with the implementation of the Aylesbury Vale Community Plan. The Community Plan is now being refreshed and will be replaced by the forthcoming Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS). The new SCS is currently being drafted and has been subject to consultation during the December 08 and January 09.

The AVLSP is represented on the county wide Buckinghamshire LSP and the Government Office for the South East Rural Forum. The AVLSP was reformed in early 2008, following a discussion at the wider Vision 2031 Partnership meeting in September 2007. The new LSP had its first annual reference group meeting in Aylesbury in January 2009.

LSP Board

The LSP elected it's Chairman and Vice Chairman in April 2008.

Warren Whyte, Town Representative, was elected to the position as Aylesbury Vale LSP Chairman and Val Lawson, Voluntary Sector Representative elected as the Vice Chairman.

The results were confirmed by the LSP Board at their meeting in June 2008 and both positions are elected for a year, with effect from June 2008.
