Aylesbury Vale Local Strategic Partnership

The Aylesbury Vale Local Strategic Partnership (AVLSP) is composed of those representatives of the main public, voluntary and community and private sector organisations and agencies that have a responsibility and resources to deliver and assist with the implementation of the Aylesbury Vale Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS).   The SCS for Aylesbury Vale was prepared and adopted in September, 2009 and can be downloaded following the link below.

The AVLSP is represented on the county wide Buckinghamshire LSP and the Government Office for the South East Rural Forum. The AVLSP was reformed in early 2008, following a discussion at the wider Vision 2031 Partnership meeting in September 2007. The new LSP had its first annual reference group meeting in Aylesbury in January 2009.

LSP Board

The LSP elected it's Chairman and Vice Chairman in June 2009.

Warren Whyte, Town Representative, was elected to the position as Aylesbury Vale LSP Chairman and Councillor Pam Pearce, Cabinet Member for Community Matters at AVDC, was the Vice Chairman.

The results were confirmed by the LSP Board at their meeting in June 2009 and both positions are elected for a year, with effect from June 2009.
