What does the Community Safety Partnership do?

Together, we have developed a working protocol and are committed to tackling the problem of Anti-Social Behaviour with other partner agencies such as the Youth Offending Service, The Drug Action Teams and other voluntary services.

Working as a team makes us more effective in the way we combat crime & disorder in Aylesbury Vale, because we're a multi agency partnership, we can take a 'holistic' approach: tackling linked problems together (such as underage drinking and loutish behaviour) and providing support where our help is most needed.

We support neighbourhoods and communities that are suffering particular problems (such as anti social behaviour, vandalism and abandoned vehicles, which all represent a potential for more serious community safety issues e.g. an abandoned vehicle adding to an untidy environment or worse creating an opportunity for arson).
