AVDC is currently chair of the Community Safety Partnership and leads on partnership plans, anti-social behaviour and the priority to ‘tackle local priorities, increase public confidence’.

The focus is on crime and disorder within the district, including rural and urban areas.

The community safety team at AVDC specialises in domestic abuse, crime reduction, young people and communication.
