This section is about the role Bucks Fire and Rescue play in the community safety partnership
Although fire safety is their special interest, Bucks Fire & Rescue Service is involved in many aspects of community safety. From community activities and education such as the junior fire setters programme, home fire risk checks providing fire safety advice, and road safety initiatives.
Bucks Fire & Rescue plays a vital role in the Aylesbury Vale community safety partnership. The majority of partnership work is focused on crime rather than fire safety but this has not prevented the fire service from contributing to district and countywide initiatives such as SKIDZ, anti-social behaviour reduction and positive activities for young people (PAYP).
