This section of the website is about hate crime. A hate crime is a crime based on sexuality, race, religion, gender, disability, age or faith.
In the last few years hate crimes have become a focal point for the partnership. AVDC is now a reporting centre so any hate incidents can be reported to AVDC or Thames Valley Police. A hate crime reporting pack is now available, it’s easy to fill in and discreet. AVDC has seen an increased number of reports due to training being provided to raise awareness about how hate crimes are not tolerated and how they are effectively dealt with.
