Quainton - Bucks Railway Centre

AVDC and the Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust jointly provide this fund of up to £500,000 per year until 2017.

Criteria

Eligible groups may include charities, clubs, societies, associations, parish councils, community interest companies and other social enterprises.
Applicants must be formally constituted, not-for-profit and operate within Aylesbury Vale, providing facilities, activities or services for the benefit of local residents.

Open Funding Streams - There are two main types of grant:
• Microgrants, up to £1,000 – assessed every month
• Project Grants, one-off funding up to £25,000 for capital or revenue costs – three rounds each year

[There are a limited number of grants for three-year revenue funding (3YR), up to £25,000 per year. Applications for funding from 2011-14 were considered by the grants panel in 2010. 3YR reopens in 2013 for funding from 2014-17.]


Applications must contribute to at least one of the following areas:
• Stronger communities
• Safer communities
• Thriving economy
• Sustainable environment
• Health and wellbeing

Read the summary below and then contact the Community Chest Grants Officer to request an application pack, with a brief outline of your project and the costs involved. You can email, telephone or write a letter.

Deadlines
• Community Chest Microgrants (up to £1,000) are reviewed monthly, closing date 15th of each month.
• The next Project Grant closing date is 20th July 2012, for one-off applications up to £25,000.
