Fire kills

If a fire breaks out you must call the emergency services. Phone 999 and when asked which service you require, tell them Fire Service. When you are connected try to give the following details:

  • the details of the emergency
  • the address
  • your telephone number
  • your name
  • any other details you think are important

To help the fire fighters, try and stay nearby to the fire so that you can speak to them when they arrive.

In an emergency always remember:

  • Get out!
  • Stay out!
  • Call the fire and rescue service out!
