Andrew Grant, Chief Executive of AVDC

Information about AVDC's management structure.

Decisions about policy are made by the councillors elected by the residents of Aylesbury Vale. Councillors are advised by the senior management of AVDC.

Andrew Grant is the chief executive. He manages the council, is leader of Corporate Board and runs a department that directly looks after the following:

  • corporate policy
  • economic development (services for businesses)
  • growth

He manages two directors for Services and Resources.

Services

Nigel Brooke is director of Services. The following divisions come within the directorate:

  • Environment Services
  • Planning
  • Community Services.

Resources

Jon McGinty is director of Resources. The following divisions come within the directorate:

  • Administration
  • Benefits
  • Communications & Marketing
  • Finance
  • Information Technology
  • Legal
  • People & Payroll
  • Parking
  • Revenues.
