You are eligible to register to vote if you are a citizen of the eligible countries, British Dependent Territories or other Commonwealth countries listed below.

*Zimbabwe has announced that it wishes to withdraw from the Commonwealth. However, this does not alter the voting rights of Zimbabweans.  Zimbabwe is listed as a member of the Commonwealth in the British Nationality Act 1981 and unless that Act is amended, citizens of Zimbabwe resident in the United Kingdom remain qualifying Commonwealth citizens for election purposes.

European Union countries

If you are a citizen of a European Union Member State you are entitled to register to vote at Local Government elections and European Parliamentary elections only.  You can complete the standard individual registration form and when this is returned to the electoral office this will entitle you to vote at Local Government elections. An additional form will be sent to you for you to fill out to enable you to vote in Aylesbury Vale in a European Parliamentary election.
