Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places 2014
Sections 18A to 18E of the Representation of the People Act 1983
Each local authority is required to carry out a review of polling districts and polling places on a regular five-yearly cycle.
AVDC’s current review has now concluded with Council on 3 December 2014 agreeing the draft proposals put forward by the General Purposes Committee at its meetings held on 19 August and 18 November. During the consultation period Members, Town and Parish Councils, political parties, Bucks County Council, groups and organisations representing electors with disabilities and residents of the Vale were given the opportunity to comment on the draft proposals.
Copies of the comments received during the consultation period are provided in the link below. Links are also provided for the General Purposes Committees on 19 August and 18 November, and Council on 3 December 2014.
Also shown below are the final Polling Arrangements for the Aylesbury and Buckingham Constituencies.
