Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) and Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA)
Information about how councils are assessed by the Audit Commission.
Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) is designed to provide an overall judgement about the quality of our services and our capacity to deliver improved services to our residents. Our Inspection took place in February 2004 when a team of four inspectors from the Audit Commission spent a week on site speaking to our staff, Members, partners and residents. Their inspection rated our council as a good authority and a copy of the inspection report can be downloaded using the link below.
Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) was introduced in 2009 and replaced CPA. It is designed to provide information on how well local partners are working together to identify and respond to the priorities within their area. The assessment will focus on the county of Bucks, rather than Aylesbury Vale district and will be published in November 2009.The latest self assessment report for Bucks can be found on the Bucks county council website using the link below.
