Species Conservation

Species-specific conservation schemes have been established for some of our most important wild animals and plants - Barn Owls, bats, Swifts, Water Voles, Great Crested Newts, Black Poplar and our most recent scheme, for otters.

These are not only the most important species in the Vale but provide excellent opportunities for promoting conservation as a whole.
