If you live in certain villages in Aylesbury Vale, there is an additional refuse removal service. Known as village bulk refuse collections. A collection truck calls at these villages at set times throughout the year to remove any extra household waste you may have.

We are sorry but the village refuse truck can’t accept:

• Any electrical equipment  as under new regulations the supplier must take these back when he supplies you with new equipment or you can take them to a civic amenity site
• clinical waste, eg syringes, used dressings
• car parts including tyres, exhausts, batteries, oil
• hazardous waste, eg asbestos
• commercial or business waste
• building rubble
• paints, liquids or garden chemicals
