QPC's first Textile Festival is to be held as part of a month-long celebration of fibres, threads and textiles, entitled “Focus on Fibres”.

Enjoy workshops, demonstrations and have-a-go sessions of textile crafts. Events for both adults and children will be running throughout the day, so you can bring the whole family along!

At 2pm on the day, Oxford-based artist Christine Bloxham will be giving a talk on beadwork and the history of beading, enhanced with displays of her own beadwork and a collection of historical pieces.

Other crafts on display will include weaving, spinning, knitting, dyeing, and much more!

Enjoy homemade cakes and refreshments in the coffee bar and enter our raffle to try to win prizes, including a hat, which is to be made on the day!

Come along to support the Centre and have fun with fibres!
