In 1981 Waddesdon had an indoor staff of 50 and over 60 gardeners. Curators Rachel Boak and Diana Stone examine the complex arrangements needed to run a major late 19th century house and estate. From the scullery to the butler's pantry, from the housekeeper and steward with their spacious offices to the night watchman on his rounds, the day includes a tour of some of the behind the scenes area of the manor.

Includes morning coffee, two course set lunch with wine, and a cup of tea and cake.
