Examples
Example 1
Mrs B lives in Aylesbury. She was horrified to learn that her electric wiring was faulty and needed replacing urgently. With the help of Staying Put she got a grant to cover the full cost of the work and it was carried out within a few weeks. Mrs B said she was very relieved when her home was made safe.
Example 2
Mr E. lives alone in a village. He suffers from arthritis and finds climbing the stairs too painful. He didn’t want to sleep downstairs and was very pleased when Staying Put helped him apply for a grant for a stairlift.
