Changes to housing benefit from January 2012

From 1 January 2012 there were changes to housing benefit for single people aged 25 to 34 who rent from a private landlord.

The changes may mean that the amount of housing benefit paid may go down.

The government made changes to the way housing benefit is calculated for these tenants.
