How to petition

You can now start a petition online using our e-petition service for people to 'sign'. However, before you create or sign your first e-petition you must provide us with a few details in case we need to contact you about the e-petition.

Read the Petitions Scheme for guidance to find out how to submit an e-petition and how the Council will deal with your e-petition.

If you create an e-petition you will be required to provide the council with basic personal information so that we can contact you about your e-petition.  The information will only be used for this purpose, although we may need to pass your details to the relevant department to enable them to respond to the issues you raise.
