This year's annual Parklife event took place on the first weekend of September and was a great success!

The Aylesbury Church Network were on hand to provide free activities including crafts, juggling, balloons, live music, tug-of-war, bouncy castles, face painting, motorised bath racing, cakes, a BBQ and more! 

Saturday evening saw the park taken over by picnic blankets and flags as we celebrated the Proms in the Park with Aylesbury Community Concert Band.  This annual event, hosted by Aylesbury Town Council, proved a great success with music for all the family and the inclusion of the traditional flag waving style of the Last Night of the Proms with Sea Shanties, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory.

On Sunday Aylesbury residents had the chance to take part in a range of sports, including a fitness session with the Aqua Vale team, tag rugby, tennis, cricket, street sports, bowls and several inflatable games.  There were also local sports clubs on hand with opportunities for everyone to get involved.

Planning is now in progress to make next year's event as big as this one, so keep checking back to this page where more details will become available.
