Music in Quiet Places 2011 returned this year with 8 classical concerts across Aylesbury Vale.

Concerts were held in Cuddington, Nash, Mursley, Haddenham, Marsworth, Great Horwood, Preston Bissett and Edlesborough.  Despite the bad weather there were large audiences and positive feedback for all venues.

In Music in Quiet Places tradition each concert was preceded by a short village walk led by a local historian and refreshments were provided by the Churches which were hosting.  Audiences enjoyed pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi and Schubert, whilst Music in Quiet Places favourite Rowena Bass provided Harp Solos on a Summers evening.

Information about how to host a concert as part of Music in Quiet Places 2012 will be posted onto this page in the next couple of months.  For more information about the scheme please contact us on the details below.
