Perfect Village Sunday is a partnership project that offers parishes the opportunity to expand on village fetes in June and July each year with music and children's entertainment. The aim is to encourage rural communities to organise a traditional family event which promotes a strong feeling of community cohesion.

2009 saw successful events across the Vale, with Weedon, Stoke Hammond, Brill and Calvert Green all hosting the event. Pugh’s Children’s entertainment provided a Punch and Judy show at each event with Great Horwood Silver Band adding music to the village atmosphere.
