Our spectacular Roald Dahl Festival always draws thousands of visitors to Aylesbury Town Centre. Come along for a scrumdiddlyumptious event brimfull with colour, noise, activities and entertainment for all the family to enjoy, whatever the weather!
Line the streets ready for the spectacular Roald Dahl Parade, starting at 11am. This year’s theme is The Twits!
Larger-than-life puppets and colourful artwork made by children and young people in the local area will parade through the streets of Aylesbury, starting at St Mary’s Church. The parade’s sights are matched by the sound of boisterous samba and brass bands and street entertainers: sure to get you in the festival mood. And there’s a designated viewing area for wheelchair users at the top of Market Square.
A range of family entertainment will follow until 3pm across the town. Keep coming back to find out more about this year’s brilliant activities.
The festival is organised by AVDC with help from our phiz-wizzing partners.
