A lively arts centre offering more than 50 arts and crafts workshops every week, providing opportunities for amateur groups and local bands. The centre is open 6 days a week and offers everything from Flamenco dancing to Indian embroidery. Activities ranging from stage fighting to kite-making feature for children and teenagers. The Gallery runs regular exhibitions. Exhibitions are booked well in advance. If you are interested in showing your work call 01296 424332.
Access
The centre is fully accessible, there are disabled parking bays close to the main doors. Access to the theatre and studios is at ground level. Our staff will be happy to help if required.
Food and drink
Our coffee bar is open most mornings and afternoons. The bar opens at 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays for pre-show drinks, you can pre-order your interval drinks using the pre-order forms in the bar. The bar also opens for post show drinks.
Shop
We sell a range of arts and crafts materials and equipment, so not only can you take part in a workshop, you can buy your equipment here too, at very competitive prices.

Membership
Membership of the Queens Park Art Centre and the Limelight Theatre costs just £12 per year (£8 for concessions). Members receive discounted workshops and 20% off 2 tickets per show, plus an invitation to the AGM. Family membership costs £25. Volunteers receive free membership. People in extreme financial difficulties may receive discounted or free membership (ask at reception for more details).
Bookings
Tickets can be bought or reserved in advance (or on the day if not sold out). You can do this in person, by telephone, by fax or by email. Reserved tickets can be held for 7 days without payment, or until half an hour before the event, whichever is the sooner. Unpaid tickets outside this time will be released. We recommend that you buy tickets in advance or telephone to check availability. Remember to tell us how many tickets you want, the name and date of the performance or workshop, you name, address and contact number, so that we can confirm your booking.

Ways to pay
We only accept access, visa or switch payments for bookings over £10. Please make cheques payable to Queens Park Centre and enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want the tickets posted to you.
Concessions
If you are under 16 or in full time education, unemployed, over 60/65 or hold a Leisure Card you are eligible for the concessionary ticket price There is also a group booking discount – one free ticket for groups of more than 10. Only one concession may be applied to any one booking.

Volunteers
This service continues to function due to the dedication of the staff and over 50 volunteers. If you would like to help your local arts centre, give something back to the community, widen your circle of friends, work in a friendly environment, share your expertise and develop your skills, then why not become a volunteer?
Our volunteers help run the coffee bar, work on the box office, behind the bar and backstage. Volunteers receive free membership. If you want to become a volunteer call 01296 424332 and ask for more information on volunteering.
