Parks, playgrounds and open spaces
With over 350 square miles of rural Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury Vale offers many outstanding views of natural beauty.
It is home to many informal green spaces including play areas and pitches as well as habitats and woodlands.
Aylesbury Vale is home to more than 60 areas of green space for vocational use, including major parks in both Aylesbury and Buckingham.
Throughout the Vale you will find opportunities for formal and informal sports activities and leisure activities. Many of these sites are important wildlife areas and these are managed to fit into our biodiversity plan. Follow the link at the bottom of the page to find out more about the biodiversity plan.
The play areas are managed by us and the equipment available is suitable for children's aged 2-12 years. Each site is inspected by our maintenance staff on a weekly basis.
For more information on any of the parks in Aylesbury Vale follow the links in this section.
