After school sessions at the Jonathan Page Play Centre, Meadowcroft are available to working parents or just drop your children in to play with us. The after school club opens at 3.15pm and children must be collected no later than 6pm.

Prices for the after school club:

We provide a healthy snack tea, a quiet homework area and an opportunity for the children to make friends and chill out after a busy day at school.  We have a wide variety of equipment for all ages both inside the Play Centre and in the secure adjacent play area outside.

Children are collected from Thomas Hickman on foot, Turnfurlong by Mini bus and Buckingham park by Taxi collections and escorted to the Play Centre. Our staff have all received Road Safety training and they share their traffic awareness skills with the children. Both children and staff wear high visibility vests during the walk.

We also accept children who arrive by taxis, or that are arranged by the County Council. Please note, we do not accept responsibility for the children until they have been met by a member of staff. 

Jonathan Page's Themed Months

The Jonathan Page Play Centre After School Club explore a different theme every month, allowing the children to learn new subjects, as well as finding new skills and having fun.

Monthly activities including:

April is Community Month

Learn about and become different people from our community. The home corner will transform into a Police Station and Refuse Centre. Keep your eyes peeled for visits from local helpers.

MAY – We are travelling around the world at Jonathan page this May as we look at countries people have visited, it maybe by boat, plane or somewhere in the UK! We will encourage the children to try making some traditional dishes and take a peek into the lives of others. We will be able to move to music in our workshop as well as making culturally inspired instruments and a range of crafts.
 

JUNE : Join us with the Roald Dahl Festival month! We will be preparing to join in with the parade in the town centre and creating master pieces from our chosen book which children will be invited too. We will be acting out some scenes from our favourite stories and getting messy with our revolting recipes.

Please note all bookings must be accompanied by payment via credit card in advance. Cash payments can also be made at the Jonathan Page Play Centre
