The Jonathan Page Play Centre
The Jonathan Page Play Centre (Meadowcroft) opened in February 2000. This purpose built Play Centre adjacent to Quarrendon and Meadowcroft Community Centre, offers a main sports hall, craft room and tuck room and large outside play area.
The outside play area includes a multi-use games area, Galaxy Activity Frame, Supernova roundabout, Cincinatti play frame and go-kart track.
The Play Centre is managed by a team of trained experienced staff who have qualification's in Playwork, Childcare, first aid and food hygiene.
We have a wide variety of equipment and many craft and sport activities. Children from 4 to 13 years old can attend the term-time after school club and holiday playscheme. Our service is registered with Ofsted and has received many positive inspection reports and we have recently achieved the Buckinghamshire Quality Assurance award for our service.
Other activities at the Jonathan Page Play Centre include Sure Start Children's Centre services A comprehensive programme of sessions for under fives are available weekdays. Call 0800 3283317 for more details.
We are currently registered to accept a number of childcare vouchers. The cost of these vouchers forms part of the employee's salary, but savings are made on a proportion of National Insurance Contributions and Tax. The cost of the vouchers can only be redeemed by the childcare provider. If you need help form the employer towards paying child care fees, you may find this leaflet helpful. Booking instructions
To assist our customer bookings they can now be made in several different ways:
•In person - by calling in to the Jonathan Page Play Centre between 2pm and 6pm
•By telephone - by calling 01296 426139 between 2pm and 6pm
•By post or email
Please note all bookings must be accompanied by payment via credit card or cash in advance. We can take bookings for any play schemes in the year - this helps working parents who need to plan their work schedules. Book early to guarantee your places.
Holiday Playschemes
The FREE Play around the Parishes project run in Easter and Summer holidays. Details of this is featured in our Do-It Booklet. and are updated prior to each holiday period the next being Easter 2013 and can be found by following the links below or by clicking the tab on the left hand side of the page.
