The Active England Project

Active England Project
If you live in the Walton Court or Southcourt area of Aylesbury then the Active England programme is here to help you become more physically active.
The project aims to encourage the whole community to become more physically active by providing low cost activities that anyone can participate in. The project also offers tailor-made advice about how to build activity into your everyday life through the Get Active Support Programme. There are activities on offer to children of all ages throughout the school holidays and also a variety of sessions that take place weekly including chair based exercise classes, health walks, multi-skills toddler sessions and street dance.
If you would like to become more involved in sport as a coach or leader then the project can also help you. There are many different opportunities for you to develop your skills and you could also gain a sports related qualification, allowing you to become really involved in the programme.
The project is always developing new initiatives to engage with the community and to encourage them to participate in a wide range of activities. Further activities will include pre-school activity classes teaching multi skills, ballroom dancing, womens' "sports for fun" courses and much more.
If you live in Walton Court or Southcourt why not pop in to the Healthy Living Centre in Walton Court shopping centre.
