Buckingham Ladies Hockey Club
The club has been in existence since before 1950. At present the club has been promoted six times in the last seven seasons and next season the 1st XI will be competing in South 1 and aiming for promotion into the National hockey leagues, we will be running a second team (Tri-Sports 3 counties Division 6) and our junior section will be playing more fixtures and tournaments.
Buckingham Hockey Club are looking for new players at all ages and can offer a fun way to keep fit and make friends. Several of the team have gone on to be sucessful in the International arena, with 3 players currently in the England U18 squad. They want to win but encourage the responsibilities & spirit that come from team games. They want to be a role model for Hockey in Buckinghamshire.
Zak Jones, 1st XI and Head Coach at Buckingham HC, has a well respected record in the Hockey world including over 100 caps as a Senior International for Wales, National League Premiership successand recent appointment as Head Coach of Wales.
All home games and training take place at Stowe School, Buckingham.
Training is Wednesday for Seniors and Tue/Wed for Juniors
