The £9.8 million Lottery-supported Aqua Vale Swimming and Fitness Centre opened on the 15th September 2001. This state-of-the-art facility offers excellent value for money and is open to the public at user-friendly times both during the week and at weekends. Three swimming pools are on offer, giving the opportunity to choose between the eight lane 25 metre competition pool complete with movable floor, the indoor leisure water with its lazy river and interactive flume or the outdoor heated pool - available all year round. If you prefer leisure experiences on dry land there is also a high-tech gym, dance studio, sauna, soft play room and cafe Nescafe.

The facility is managed by SERCO on behalf of Aylesbury Vale District Council.
