The Stoke Mandeville Stadium has now opened following a major refurbishment that was part funded by a Sport England Lottery Grant and AVDC. The facilities include a 12 court sports hall, swimming pool, fitness suite and crèche, as well as a 50 twin bedroom Olympic lodge and a new athletics track which is already being used by the Vale of Aylesbury Athletics Club.

The site is managed by Leisure Connection whose main priorities include widespread public access, in line with a community use agreement, which is complementary to other local sports facilities such as Aqua Vale.
