The information below gives details of a variety of ways to get funding.

Awards for All

Awards for All is a programme that funds projects (between £500 and £5,000) that involved people in their community. It brings people together to enjoy arts, sports, heritage, the environment, education and other community activities. Priority is given to applications targeting disabled people. You can apply if the group you represent  has a constitution or formally accepted set of rules and a bank account. The funding can be used for the development of sporting activities, coaching, events, training, coach education, hire of facilities, equipment and much more.

Foundation for Sport and the Arts

Grants are awarded to sports and arts organisations. Priority is given to projects that increase participation and enjoyment in sport. For more information see the address below:

Sportsmatch Funding

Sportsmatch is a sponsorship incentive scheme aimed at increasing commercial sponsorship. If you are a non-profit group and have secured commercial sponsorship, Sportsmatch may match the amount you secured as long as your application meets their funding criteria by showing increased participation in sport at a grass root level, improved skills, providing new or extensions to existing activities, or links to the community. BBC Children in Need

This is a national grant making trust that gives grants to help disadvantaged children under 18 years. The trust welcomes applications from constituted, non-profit making self help groups, voluntary organisations and registered charities. Both revenue and capital projects are considered. Football Foundation

The Football Foundation allocates funding to revitalise the grass roots of the game, to refurbish facilities, to promote community and educational initiatives. The aim is to enhance football's positive force in society , to improve social inclusion and to raise educational standards. The maximum amount of funding available is £1 million, with the average contribution from the Foundation being 65% of the cost. Whizz-Kidz
