Try out tricks and jumps on the mobile skate park

The On the Road project is an opportunity for young people in Aylesbury Vale to take part in free skateboarding, sports, dance and multi-media activities.

The ‘On the Road’ scheme is funded by Aylesbury Vale District Council and the i-van to provide healthy, fun, social, safe and challenging opportunities for 8 to 19 year-olds.

Our mobile skate park includes a 60cm quarter pipe, two fly-off platforms, an angle grid box, two launch ramps, a 60cm flat bank, a grind rail and safety equipment. Young people can practice their skate-boarding and BMX skills or even in-line skating on our ramps.

Staff are always on hand to provide help and guidance and all equipment, such as helmets, will be provided for free.

The i-van is a multimedia ICT studio with a range of the latest technology available on board. Young people can create their own music production, a wallpaper for their mobile, their own comic or make a short film.

If you would like the On the Road project to come to your village then please contact the Community Development team on the below e-mail address
