The Vale of Aylesbury Plan.

The Vale of Aylesbury Plan (VAP) Strategy Proposed Submission document has been published for comment on the soundness and legal compliance of the Plan. The accompanying Sustainability Appraisal is also available for comment. The period for commenting runs from Wednesday 8th May until 5.00pm on Wednesday 19th June 2013. Late submissions will not be accepted.

VAP Strategy sets out the vision, strategic objectives, overall jobs and housing figures for the District, along with apportionment across the District, and the principles of how development should take place in terms of delivering infrastructure, economic growth, housing, environmental protection and the localism agenda. It does not allocate sites for growth.

VAP strategy has been published in order for comments to be made on the soundness and legal compliance of the plan before it is submitted for independent examination. Comments will be considered alongside the published VAP Strategy at the examination by an independent Planning Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State.

For more information about VAP Strategy, how to make comments and how to view the documents, please visit our VAP Proposed Submission page.
