People logging onto Aylesbury Vale District Council’s website are being invited to say how well the site is meeting their needs.

An electronic survey has been posted on the website’s homepage at www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk to give visitors the chance to air their views on different aspects of the site. The results will help to prioritise future developments and further plans to modernise and transform the website.

People will be asked to say what they think about the website overall and to offer any suggestions about improving its content and organisation. Visitors will also be asked how often they visit the site, how easy it is to use and if they found the information they were looking for.

The council is also asking for people’s help to change the look of the website. People who fill in the survey will be invited to help decide on the redesign of the site by looking at new designs or reviewing layout. 

Councillor Margaret Morgan-Owen, Cabinet Member for Resources, said: “Everyone’s views are important to us. We are really keen to know what people want from our website. Results will be used to improve areas that people are not happy with and make the most of those they like.”

Staff at AVDC will be on hand to help if there is anything people do not understand in the survey. All information given will be treated confidentially and individuals will not be identified in any way.
