Many refuse collection rounds have been severely affected by the weather conditions this morning. The area between Winslow and Buckingham and villages to the west of the district are most affected. Refuse collection staff are working hard to collect as much as possible before nightfall.

All refuse rounds have left the depot, but some are severely delayed. Please leave your refuse and recycling out as usual, collections may be late but please be patient as refuse collection staff try their best to complete their rounds.

Where the refuse vehicles are unable to access a street, some crews are taking bins to the end of the street to empty them. However, these bins may be left where they were emptied.

If your usual collection day is Wednesday and your refuse and recycling hasn’t been collected by the end of the day, please take your rubbish back in and put it out on your next collection date. To check your refuse collection dates visit the council’s website and follow the link from the homepage.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
