Heavy snow is forecast for the early part of next week. The council warns residents that refuse and recycling collections may be affected.

Contract Services Manager Bob Bryant said, “Until we can see what the local conditions are like when we arrive for work, we won’t be able to make a decision about what will happen. We will, obviously, aim to keep our services running as usual but this may not be possible.

“Our advice to residents is to check the council’s website for the latest news, which will be posted up if we receive snow. We will able to let people know if there is any disruption to services and, if so, when they can expect their refuse to be collected. The website address is www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk and the information will appear on the home page. Alternatively, residents should listen to local radio bulletins for information.”
