Parents who book places for their children on Aylesbury Vale District Council’s Christmas holiday playscheme will receive a fantastic 25 per cent off the price.

The discount is available on festive fun days at the Jonathan Page Play Centre in Aylesbury on 29, 30 and 31 December.

Five to 13 year-olds can join in the ‘winter wonderland’ theme and play with artificial snow, take part in a Nintendo Wii ski slope challenge or make snow storms and ice sculptures.

Playscheme prices before discount range from £16 to £10.50 per day for Passport to Leisure card holders – childcare for as little as £1.21 per hour.

The Jonathan Page Play Centre will also be offering festive fun days on 22, 23 and 24 December. Children will enjoy a wide range of activities, games and crafts including making Christmas table decorations and seasonal cooking.

Councillor David Thompson, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said: “These festive fun days are always great fun for all the children – they also allow parents time for shopping and final preparations. All our play activities are run by experienced playworkers, so the children are learning and having fun in a safe environment.”
