Women will get advice on how to choose the best clothing shapes, colours and designs

Women wanting expert advice on how to develop a great look by wearing the right colours and the right styles are invited to attend a special charity event in Aylesbury next month.

Aylesbury Vale District Council has teamed up with First Impressions Image Consultancy to present an evening which will help ladies make the absolute best of their appearance.

The fundraiser will be held in aid of one of the charities supported by the Chairman of Aylesbury Vale District Council, Councillor Netta Glover.

All proceeds will go towards the HeartScan Appeal at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, which aims to raise £125,000 to buy advanced specialist equipment to assess those at risk of a heart attack or stroke.

Consultant Linda Balint will give advice on how to choose the best clothing shapes, colours and designs, demonstrate how to apply personal styling techniques to create flattering illusions and show how to accessories for a more youthful and attractive appearance.

There will also be the opportunity to purchase a range of products and take part in a raffle for a chance to win a one-to-one image consultation worth £100.

Councillor Netta Glover said: “This is a really fun and enjoyable way to raise money for a good cause and we are expecting a lot of support from Aylesbury residents. I am sure that those who participate will enjoy the experience.”

The image consultancy evening will be held at the Civic Centre on 2 October with doors opening at 6.30pm for 7pm. Tickets cost £15 in advance or £18 on the door and come with a complimentary glass of wine.

As places are limited, it is advisable to book early by calling Jan Roffe on 01296 585009 or emailing jroffe@aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk
