Aylesbury’s Vale Park will be home to a day of free sports activities on Sunday 6 September.
The ‘Super Sport Sunday’ event will take place from 11am to 4pm and is run by Aylesbury Vale District Council.
Basketball, bowls, cricket, tag-rugby, tennis and many more activities will be available for people of all ages to try and sports coaches will be on hand to give expert advice.
There will also be inflatable games, such as basketball bounce shot, speed cage and rugby bungee, and fun fitness sessions in the park. In addition, local sports clubs will be showing people what they’ve got to offer.
All activities are free and equipment will be available on the day so all people need to do is bring their trainers. Children taking part on the day must be accompanied by an adult.
Councillor David Thompson, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said: “This day provides people with a great opportunity to try their hand at something new and discover different ways to get active and keep fit. It will be a great day out for all the family and I encourage as many people as possible to take part.”
Super Sport Sunday is part of the annual Parklife festival in Vale Park. Other events include a family fun day and Proms in the Park on 5 September.
