Have your say on swimming in Aylesbury Vale

Residents are being encouraged to take the plunge and give their views on swimming in Aylesbury Vale.
AVDC wants to hear what people think about local swimming facilities and what they think is needed in the future.
A consultation is taking place to help the council guide its strategy for the future of swimming provision in the Vale.
Questions being asked include: whether the local swimming pool facilities are accessible; what should be changed at the pools; and what people should be charged to use the facilities.
Councillor David Thompson, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said: “We are very keen indeed to gain the opinions of as many people as possible about swimming provision in Aylesbury Vale. Your views are very important, so please fill out the consultation questionnaire which is very straightforward. Only by having views back can we get a real picture of what local people want and ensure that the decisions we make benefit the people who use and rely on swimming facilities in the district.”
To join in the consultation, residents are asked to complete a simple online survey by visiting www.syzygyleisure.co.uk/avdc.htm
The consultation runs until Friday 4 September. For further information, visit www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk/sports or call 01296 585221.
